
MOSCOW, February 27 English Manchester United with the arrival new team co-owner Jim Ratcliffe plans to part with at least ten players in the summer transfer window, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The contracts of Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial and Tom Heaton expire in the summer, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof and Facundo Pellistri's contracts expire next year. Sofyan Amrabat, Casemiro, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek, Hannibal Mejbri, Alvaro Fernandez and Anthony could also leave the team.
United is currently in sixth place in the English Premier League standings, with 44 points. The Red Devils also finished last in the Champions League group and were knocked out of European competition.
British billionaire Ratcliffe, owner of chemical giant Ineos, acquired a stake in Manchester United worth £1.2 billion in February. The businessman is also investing $300 million in the infrastructure of the Old Trafford stadium. Prior to this, the sole owners of the club's shares were Avram and Joel Glazer, who bought the team in 2005 for $1.34 billion.
