Xiaomi is actively working to resolve an issue with the update that causes serious disruptions to smartphones around the world. This was reported on the company's official page on the VKontakte social network.
A representative of the corporation confirmed that specialists are already busy finding a solution to the problem and apologize for any inconvenience that could be caused by this failure.
The latest MIUI 14 and HyperOS update, released recently, contains a new quick access curtain, which has caused problems with devices. After installing the update, smartphones stop booting and enter a cyclic reboot. Even those device models that did not plan to update faced this problem. The only way to restore the functionality of the gadget is to perform a full reset via the Recovery Menu.
Previously, problems were also noticed with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra ceramic model, which caused dissatisfaction among users.
