MOSCOW, March 2. The famous game “Well, wait a minute!”, receivers “Micro”, “Era” and other examples of retro technology, as well as modern products of the Russian microelectronics industry can be seen in the Angstrem museum, which opened after reconstruction, said the Moscow government minister, head Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.
Museum of Microelectronics named after V.V. Grigorievsky is located in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. The exhibition reflects the history of the Angstrem company, which celebrated its 60th anniversary last year.
“The enterprise was the domestic manufacturer that developed the first series of microcircuits for on-board computers of spaceships of the Soviet Lunar Program, microprocessors and microcircuits for the first domestic personal computers, and also produced the popular game “Well, wait a minute!”, recalled Ovchinsky, whose words are quoted by the press -DIPP service.
The company received SEZ resident status in 2017. This allows it to save on taxes and invest in development, the head of the department emphasized.
“Over the past two years alone, the company has developed almost 150 electronic products, 109 of which have already been put into production. Among them are microwave chips based on ultra-thin silicon on sapphire, smart power drivers and voltage converters — these devices are key to the modern transport sector , electrical networks and industry. At the end of 2023, the company invested over 200 million rubles in its development,” Ovchinsky indicated.
According to company representatives, the museum is the only such exhibition in the world. After its reconstruction, interactive zones with modern equipment appeared here. On the basis of the museum, it is planned to further organize an educational center with programs for youth and adults.
Special economic zone «Technopolis Moscow» is a territory with a special legal status, which has a preferential regime for business activities for investors. The area of six sites (Pechatniki, Alabushevo, Mikron, MIET, Angstrem, Rudnevo), which house high-tech SEZ enterprises, exceeds 275 hectares. Technopolis Moscow has been a leader in international and national industry ratings for several years.
