
MOSCOW, March 4Police in Krasnoyarsk stopped the activities of a commercial testing center for migrants, whose workers themselves took exams for them and issued certificates to foreigners for money, said official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk.
«»According to available data, employees of a commercial testing center for migrants throughout the year, for a monetary reward, issued foreigners with certificates of proficiency in the Russian language, knowledge of the history of Russia and the fundamentals of its legislation. At the same time, the exams were conducted formally, and the representatives themselves answered test questions company,” Volk wrote in her Telegram channel.
She noted that such certificates were subsequently used by migrants when preparing documents that were the basis for legal stay and work in Russia.
Police have identified more than 200 cases of falsification of test results in Krasnoyarsk. Three suspects of organizing the illegal stay of foreigners in Russia were detained. A criminal case has been initiated under paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Persons under recognizance not to leave.
