BEIJING, March 7 Russia and China created a new model of relations between major countries, which is completely different from the times of the Cold War, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at a press conference on Thursday.
«China and Russia, as major world powers and permanent members of the UN Security Council, have created a new model of relations between major states, which is completely different from the old days of the Cold War,” Wang Yi said at the annual press conference as part of the session of the National People’s Congress (China’s parliament).
The second session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC), the country's highest legislative body, opened in Beijing on Tuesday and will last until March 11.
Formerly President Vladimir Putin stated that relations between Russia and China are at an unprecedented high level. Large-scale joint projects are being implemented in the economic, transport, energy, humanitarian and other fields, the Russian leader noted.
