MOSCOW , March 7Transport planes of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations delivered almost 380 heat guns, 30 electric heaters and two diesel modular boiler houses to Kyzyl to eliminate the consequences of the accident at the Shagonarskaya Thermal Power Plant, the press service of the ministry said.
“In total, 375 heat guns, 30 electric heaters, 2 diesel modular boiler houses were delivered to Tuva by the Ministry of Emergency Situations aviation,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
On Wednesday, in the three-story building of the central boiler house of the Shagonarskaya CHPP, a coal dust explosion occurred in the fuel supply room, causing a fire over an area of 50 square meters. 23 people were injured, 15 were hospitalized. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations sent equipment to the region to restore heat supply and heat socially significant facilities. On Thursday, the first boiler of the emergency thermal power plant was launched, two more are being prepared for launch, equipment is expected from Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Moscow and other cities.
