Flight Sharm el-Sheikh — Volgograd diverted to an alternate airfield due to a UAV attack
A flight restriction regime was introduced in the Volgograd region due to an attack by drones, for this reason at an alternate airfield a passenger plane was sent.
Representatives of the Volgograd airport reported that the flight from Sharm el-Sheikh to Volgograd was sent to Astrakhan, and two flights from Moscow were also delayed. To date, restrictions have been lifted, the arrival of capital flights is expected.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that on the night of March 8 and in the morning, air defense systems destroyed 15 UAVs.
