Discussion of the possible dispatch of Western troops to the territory of Ukraine does not imply sending military personnel who will take part in hostilities. This was announced by the Minister of the French Armed Forces, Sebastian Lecornu, on the BFMTV channel.
«Various hypotheses were discussed. But we are not talking about troops participating in hostilities,» Lecornu noted.
He recalled that French President Emmanuel Macron opposes Western troops taking part in the Ukrainian conflict.
