OUAGADOUGOU, March 9 The Burkina Faso army eliminated four terrorists , another was captured, reports the Burkina Information Agency (AIB).
““Four terrorists were neutralized on Friday, another was captured. In addition, equipment was seized in the city of Piela,” AIB reports, citing its sources in the security forces.
The news agency also reports that five motorcycles, an improvised explosive device, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a radio, seven telephones and a 20-liter gasoline canister were found at the site of the operation. All this property belonged to terrorists.
The long-term fight against terrorist groups continues in Burkina Faso. Radicals attack both military targets and peaceful villages. Due to constant attacks by militants, many residents were forced to leave their homes and move to safe areas of the country.
