According to information from the media, cited by the Russian Investigative Committee, in Novosibirsk a baby suffered paralysis of his arm due to an injury received during childbirth. The boy's mother believes that the child was crippled due to a medical error.
«The circumstances of providing medical care to a newborn are established by the investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Novosibirsk region as part of a criminal case initiated under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements),” says a message on the department’s website.
The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Investigative Committee for the Novosibirsk region to present a report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case, the results of which were put under control in the central office of the Investigative Committee.
