A laser machine for high-precision processing of parts has been developed in Moscow

MOSCOW, March 12. Specialists from the Lasers and Equipment company from Moscow have created Russian five-axis laser machines that are capable of high-precision processing of parts, complex contour cutting and welding, said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
He clarified that in This is the first such machine in the country. It is installed at a plant for the production of gas turbine engines, which is located in the Yaroslavl region.

Ovchinsky recalled that for many years the capital has been actively developing the high-tech industry, thereby strengthening Russia’s technological sovereignty. To achieve this, a comfortable investment climate has been created in the metropolis. The city also offers a diverse range of support tools to help industry increase production and bring innovative products to market.
“So, a manufacturer of industrial laser equipment created and organized the production of five-axis laser machines for processing complex engine parts. The company can produce up to 15 installations per year,” the press service of DIPP quoted Ovchinsky as saying.
The press service emphasized, that the company's products are used in areas where high precision processing of parts of complex shapes is required. For example, these products are used in the field of engine building.
The machine operates in five coordinates, and the machine vision embedded in it also contributes to high processing accuracy.

As noted by the general Director of the enterprise Anna Tsygantsova, when developing the machines, engineers were guided by the tasks and requirements dictated by the aircraft engine industry.
“The appearance of the machine is especially important now, so we immediately laid down the possibility of scaling up production,” the press service quotes Tsygantsova.
The capital’s mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, previously ordered the implementation of a set of measures in Moscow that could increase the investment attractiveness of the metropolis in order to develop production. Thanks to the development of capital enterprises and their modernization, the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation is preserved.

Manufacturing is developed in the capital. More than 4.2 thousand industrial sites operate in the city, where 725 thousand specialists work. Every year, up to 50 medium and large enterprises, and approximately 100 small ones, open in Moscow. These enterprises produce a wide variety of goods.
Earlier, Ovchinsky reported that systemic measures to support industry from the Moscow authorities allowed the capital's food industry to increase production of various products by almost 40% last year.
