According to the deputy, during checks the jailers make noise and rip the blanket off his head. He has to cover his head at night because of the “almost daylight” in the cell.
“All this is accompanied by the loud opening of the door, the rattling of shoes, and a voice recording on the DVR that I (thank God!) am in my sleeping place,” writes Gorinov.
