A resident of the Altai Republic was going to spoil the ballots with brilliant green in the Russian presidential elections. The region's public chamber reported that the attempt was stopped at a polling station in Maima.
An elderly woman entered the polling station, bypassing the commission members and the voting booth, and went directly to the ballot box. Approaching her, she tried to pour out the liquid of the diamond solution, popularly called “green stuff.” The illegal actions of the citizen were quickly stopped by members of the commission and an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. “The ballots were not damaged,” – emphasized in the message.
This is not the first time that a lady comes to the site with a solution of brilliant green. A similar case was recorded in Yekaterinburg.
