MOSCOW, March 17 Russian midfielder of Real Sociedad Arsen Zakharyan spoke about the reaction to his debut goal for the Spanish club.
Zakharyan scored his first goal for Real Sociedad on Friday in the match of the 29th round of the Spanish Championship against Cadiz (2:0). The Russian midfielder scored in the 68th minute, two minutes after coming on as a substitute, and set the final score of the match.
“»It's nice that he scored and arrived in a good mood. There were a lot of messages, the phone was ringing off the hook on the first day. I sorted everything out , tried to answer everyone. There weren’t any unusual congratulations, but there were a lot of them,” Zakharyan said in a video published by the press service of the Russian national team.
Zakharyan moved to the Spanish club from Dynamo Moscow in August 2023 . The midfielder has played for the Blue and White first team since 2020. He made his debut for the Russian national team in 2021 and played seven matches with it.
