MOSCOW, March 18 CSKA left welterweight Elena Mikhailichenko resumed her career and will take part in the Russian Championship match with Krasnodar “Kuban”, according to the Telegram channel of the Moscow women’s handball club.
In December 2023, the 22-year-old athlete suspended her career for health reasons. The Russian Championship match between CSKA and Kuban will take place on Monday in Moscow.

Mikhailichenko was recognized as the most valuable handball player in the Russian championship last season. The athlete is a silver medalist at the Olympic Games in Tokyo and a bronze medalist at the 2019 World Championships.
