MOSCOW, March 19 The city of Belopole in the Sumy region in Ukraine was hit, one of the critical infrastructure facilities was damaged, problems with water supply arose in the city, said the mayor of the city, Yuriy Zarko, as quoted by the Ukrainian TV channel «Public».
Earlier on Tuesday, an air raid alert was announced in a number of regions of Ukraine, including Sumy. After some time it was cancelled.
“The city of Belopolye, Sumy region: there is a hit to a critical infrastructure facility,” Zarko quotes as saying.
According to him, two explosions occurred in the city, the scale of destruction is being clarified. The official called on city residents to stock up on water due to “problems with water supply.”
