Kommersant: the government proposed to establish priority for petroleum products on railways to provide fuel
The Russian government has proposed establishing priority for the transportation of petroleum products and other types of fuel by rail compared to other cargo, reports kommersant.ru. The corresponding measure is expected to be a response to difficulties with the provision of fuel.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the publication, gave instructions to the relevant departments following a meeting with deputy prime ministers on March 18. The schedule for the export of petroleum products for the period until the end of 2024 was supposed to be scheduled by March 21.
The highest priority, according to the message, is given to military cargo, emergency relief cargo and cargo on orders President of Russia.
