According to the newspaper Helsingin Sanomat, informed sources close to the Finnish authorities announced Helsinki’s plans to expropriate the Helsinki Hall arena owned by Russian businessmen.
As the publication clarifies, to discuss this issue on March 28, an extraordinary meeting of the city council will be held.
«It is expected that at the meeting on Thursday the process of buying the arena will be launched… This measure precedes the expropriation, during which the city authorities will announce to the Russian owners their intention to buy Helsinki Hall,» the message says.
