Russia has already expressed skepticism about the upcoming conference on Ukraine, recalling the ineffectiveness of such a format, and also stated that they would not agree to participate in this event, even if they received an invitation.
Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis admitted that the conference on Ukraine, which Bern planned to hold until the summer of 2024, could be postponed to a later date. As Cassis noted, it is very important for Berne that other states recognize Switzerland's right to act as the organizer of such an event.
