The court found that defendant F. posted on the Internet posts, publications, images and videos discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, made reposts using the VPN service from the pages of users with pseudonyms in Russian and Polish, in which offensive names of the Russian nation were used, he made all these publications both on his page and as comments to posts in the news group of one of the social networks, which has more than 356 thousand subscribers.
«The verdict of the Moscow District Court sentenced F. to imprisonment for a period of 2 years, to be served in a general regime correctional colony, with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to the administration of websites, forums, chats and groups on social media. networks, for a period of 2 years,” the message says.
At the court hearing, the defendant did not admit guilt, indicating that he posted comments and posts on his page on the social network, but he had no intent to discredit the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
