The European Union has imposed a ban on flights on the territory of EU countries by the Turkish airline Southwind Airlines.
As Kommersant writes, The EU refers to sanctions regulations that introduce restrictions in connection with SVO.
In particular, Finland has already banned the air carrier's flights. The airline's routes include Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart in Germany, as well as Heraklion in Greece.
Southwind Airlines is a Turkish charter company founded in 2022. The company's official website states that its fleet includes 12 aircraft, Boeing and Airbus.
