Vladimir Putin signed a decree on spring conscription.
From April 1 to July 15, 150 thousand people will be drafted. According to the new rules, men aged 18 to 30 are subject to conscription. At the same time, as TASS clarifies, military registration and enlistment offices will not send summons to those who are 27 years old until December 31, 2023.
Last August, Putin raised the conscription age to 30 years. According to the official version, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu asked him to do this. In addition, according to the new rules, conscripts who have received a summons cannot leave the country.
