On March 30, 2024, the 17th annual festival of extreme sports “Breakthrough” was held at the CSKA Arena, organized with the support of the Department of Sports city ​​of Moscow. The show featured 49 athletes from all over the world, who delighted the packed stands with spectacular stunts.

Some athletes demonstrated elements that were unique in their complexity: Alexey Kolesnikov, the founder of freestyle motocross in Russia, performed a somersault on a buggy, Daniel Bodin, a Swedish SFX rider and five-time X-Games champion, performed a similar trick on a snowmobile, Esteban Sanchez, a Colombian FMX rider, performed the most difficult California Roll (a horizontal body rotation of 360 degrees along a horizontal axis) on a flying motorcycle, and Adam Jones, the legendary American rider and eight-time X-Games champion, delighted the audience with a variation of a backflip on a motorcycle.

The Breakthrough program included such disciplines as freestyle motocross (FMX), freestyle on snowmobiles, freestyle on ATVs, drifting, stunt riding and stunt racing. From the stage, the audience was charged with energy by the rock band The Hattersand the rapper MACAN.
