
MOSCOW, April 3. The issue of Russian President Vladimir Putin's possible trip to the G20 has not yet been considered; the Kremlin will observe what decisions the Brazilian side makes, the head of state's press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
The Folha de S.Paulo newspaper previously reported that that the Brazilian government is working to make Putin's visit to the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro this fall possible, despite an «arrest» warrant from the International Criminal Court.
«This issue has not yet been considered in any way «We will continue to observe what decisions the Brazilian side will make, since they are the organizers of the event,» Peskov said, answering a question about Putin's participation in the G20 summit.
Brazil has been presiding over the G20 since December 1 2023. The final summit in 2024 will take place on November 18-19 in Rio de Janeiro.
