MOSCOW, 3 AprThe construction of new oil refineries (ORPs) in Russia is not envisaged due to an excess of current capacities, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.
«»The construction of new refineries is not envisaged due to the fact that we have excess capacity at oil refineries. We are implementing a large-scale program for the reconstruction and modernization of refineries in order to produce higher quality products, mostly gasoline and diesel fuel, in to a lesser extent – dark petroleum products,” he told reporters.
