In Moscow, Yekaterinburg and Omsk, three more people were detained in connection with the terrorist attack at Crocus, the Federal Security Service reported. The department's release is quoted by RIA Novosti.
Two people “transferred money to purchase firearms and vehicles that were used in the attack,” and the third “recruited accomplices of the terrorist attack and financed the perpetrators,” the intelligence service claims.
Footage of the alleged detention of the men was also published. Each of them was stopped by armed security forces and knocked to the ground while he was walking in the street. All three then answered on camera that they were detained “for the terrorist attack in Crocus.”
Total in the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall near the Moscow Ring Road, which killed 144 people, ten defendants were arrested. Security forces named four of them as participants in the attack on Crocus. They were brought to court for the hearing on March 24 with visible signs of torture.
On March 25, the former owner of the white Renault used by the participants in the attack, his brother and father were arrested. On March 26, the court arrested Alisher Kasimov, who rented out an apartment to one of the alleged perpetrators of the terrorist attack. On March 29, Nazrimad Lutfulloi was taken into custody. The essence of his charges is unknown; he partially admitted his guilt. On April 1, Yakubjoni Yusufzoda was sent to a pre-trial detention center; he is charged with transferring money to a participant in the attack.
