Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky promised in his Telegram channel that he would give Russia a “concrete and fair” response to attacks on military targets and critical infrastructure.
< p>He wrote that he had a conversation with the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk (listed in Russia as terrorists and extremists) and the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov (listed in Russia as terrorists and extremists), with whom he discussed the strikes, which the Russian Armed Forces inflict in Kharkov and other regions on military installations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and critical infrastructure facilities that ensure the functioning of defense enterprises.
“We are preparing a response for the enemy — very specific and fair,” Zelensky wrote.
He also noted that he is in touch with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky, with whom he discussed the situation at the front and planning further actions. And Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported to Zelensky about the situation with ammunition in the brigades.
Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stated that he does not rule out the creation of a sanitary zone in Ukraine in order to prevent the possibility of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces of Russian territories.
