
MOSCOW, April 7 The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has taken control of the progress of the investigation into the criminal case of an attack on the life of police officers in Shchelkovo, near Moscow, reports the RF Investigative Committee.
«The head of the department has placed control over the progress of the investigation into the criminal case of an encroachment on the lives of police officers in the Moscow region,» says the department's Telegram channel.
In addition, Bastrykin instructed the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region, Alexander Starikov, to submit a report about the initially established circumstances of the case.
Earlier, the press service of the State Service of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region reported that a criminal case had been opened regarding an encroachment on the lives of police officers in Shchelkovo near Moscow, one of the law enforcement officers was killed. Measures are being taken to establish all the circumstances of the incident and search for those involved in the attack.
