Ministry of Internal Affairs: the family of a police officer who died in the Moscow region will be provided with all the necessary assistance

The family of senior police warrant officer Sergei Efimenko, who died while on duty in the Moscow region, will be provided with all the necessary assistance. Official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk reported this on a telegram channel.
The incident occurred on April 7 in the village of Yakimovo near Moscow. Law enforcement officers carried out an operation to detain drug dealers. The attackers offered armed resistance.
Sergei Efimenko died on the spot from his wounds. He is survived by two daughters. The senior warrant officer's colleague was seriously wounded. The search for suspects is currently underway.
