
MOSCOW, April 8 Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Andrei Popov as military prosecutor of the Moscow Military District; the corresponding decree is posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
Previously, Andrei Popov was the military prosecutor of the Central Military District.
“Appoint Lieutenant General of Justice Andrei Valeryevich Popov as military prosecutor of the Moscow Military District for a five-year term, releasing him from his post,” the document says. The decree comes into force on the date of its signing, April 8.
President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the creation of the Leningrad and Moscow military districts at the end of February.
