As a result of the Russian strike on the Poltava region on the night of April 8-9, 16 people were injured, four of them were children from 5 to 11 years old. The head of the regional military administration, Philip Pronin, spoke about this.
According to Pronin, assistance is being provided to all the victims — one of them is now in serious condition. Earlier, the head of the military administration also reported that one local resident was killed due to the Russian attack.
As a result of the Russian attack, several residential buildings were damaged — a fire started in one of the buildings. Due to the attack at night in the region, more than nine thousand household electricity consumers were left without electricity in the Poltava and Shcherbanovsk communities; now the power supply has been restored.
Pronin also wrote that after the night attack on the Poltava region, the region was attacked by drones. According to him, no one was injured due to the drone attack. Now the air raid alert has been declared again in the region.
