MOSCOW, April 9 Russian President Vladimir Putin are expecting a state visit to China this year, the Russian Foreign Ministry said following the visit of Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to China.
«The Chinese leader (Xi Jinping) welcomed the arrival of Sergei Lavrov in Beijing as an important stage in the comprehensive preparations for the upcoming state visit of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the People's Republic of China,» the Russian Foreign Ministry said following Lavrov's visit to China, during which the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry was received by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
