The military man Ilsur Insafovich Fatkhutdinov was buried in Tatarstan, a message on the website of the Sarmanovsky district administration was noticed by Mediazona.
As specified, a man born in 1992 was drafted into the army in 2014, and since 2016 he served under a contract, and “participated from the very first days” in a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and died on February 3, being a private in the motorized rifle battalion of military unit No. 12274.
The administration’s message does not indicate that in 2023 Fatkhutdinov was sentenced to five and a half years in prison in a general regime colony. The press release of the Grozny Garrison Military Court stated that the contract soldier lived with relatives in Tatarstan and Mineralnye Vody from July 16 to December 13, 2022 — therefore he was found guilty of leaving his unit without permission for a period of a month and during the period of mobilization (parts 4 and 3.1 Article 337 of the Criminal Code).
How Fatkhutdinov ended up in the war again is not specified, but it is known that the practice of recruiting prisoners from colonies for war is widespread.
