He was charged in absentia with encroachment on the lives of law enforcement officers and illegal trafficking in weapons, and the court chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest, also in absentia.
As the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reports in its Telegram channel, the suspect in this case is resident of the city of Istra, Moscow region. He resisted the police and opened fire on them, after which he fled on a motorcycle. As a result, the district police officer of the Losino-Petrovsky police department died and was seriously wounded by the criminal investigator of the Losino-Petrovsky police department.
The investigation appointed molecular genetic and ballistic examinations and takes comprehensive measures to establish the location of the accused.
