MOSCOW, April 10 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS, the meeting will be held on April 12 in Minsk, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
«On the twelfth of April in Minsk, under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the first meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS will take place this year. The heads of foreign affairs agencies will exchange views on current international and regional topics,» Zakharova said at a briefing.
She added that the parties will discuss issues of interaction within the CIS with an emphasis on the implementation of Russia's chairmanship in the organization.
