The Prosecutor's Office and the Investigative Committee reported on the arrest of a 21-year-old suspect in the murder of a motorcyclist on Krasnodarskaya Street in Moscow.
The Moscow department of the Investigative Committee clarifies that the young man was detained along with two accomplices in the Rostov region. Both departments — the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor's Office — published photographs of the detainees; all three will be taken to Moscow for interrogation.
The suspect was detained “with the coordinating role of the Moscow Prosecutor’s Office,” the supervisory department emphasized.
The telegram channel “112”, close to the security forces, calls his name — Shahin Abbasov. Shot claims that his older brother Shohrat and their 22-year-old relative Isa were detained along with him in the Rostov region.
In the first half of the day, the Investigative Committee reported that the suspect in the murder of a 24-year-old motorcyclist and his three accomplices were wanted. During a search in the apartment of the murder suspect, investigators say, they found 44 million rubles and $300 thousand in cash.
The day before, “on instructions from the head of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city of Moscow, Andrei Aleksandrovich Strizhov,” the murder case was transferred to the First Directorate for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases, at which time the department reported on the arrest of the father and friend of the 21-year-old suspect.
“A group of the most experienced investigators and criminologists joined the investigation,” the department said in a statement. “Law enforcement agencies continue investigative actions with the father and friend of the wanted man,” noted the Investigative Committee.
RIA Novosti and telegram channels write that 21-year-old Abbasov has Azerbaijani citizenship. The agency’s post, which cites an unnamed source, also claims that the detainee’s father “received Russian citizenship through a fictitious marriage,” and “an interpreter was brought in to talk with him.”
Yesterday evening, April 18, it was reported that at the entrance of a residential building in Lyublino “a conflict occurred between two men over a parking space,” one of them stabbed the other and fled.
The case is now being investigated under the article of murder committed by a group of people for hooligan reasons (clauses “i, g” of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code). Initially, a murder case was opened (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code).
