“According to preliminary information, today, at about 9.57 (7.57 Moscow time), during a physical education lesson, an 8th grade student, after running one lap around the perimeter of the gym, felt bad, sat down on a bench, fell and lost consciousness. The physical education teacher provided first aid to the child. Despite resuscitation by the ambulance crew, the teenager died,” the report says. 
Prosecutor's Office will check whether the school provided the boy with first aid in a timely manner medical assistance and called an ambulance.
As the head of the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Valery Gorelykh clarified, the child was registered in the hospital from the age of 9 due to a chronic disease.
“The teacher, seeing what happened, took the child and took him out into the fresh air, after which she immediately began to provide him with first aid — artificial respiration. Unfortunately, all this did not bring a positive result, as well as the help of two who arrived at the scene of the incident ambulance teams, the police representative clarified.Sverdlovsk investigators also began their investigation. To determine the exact cause of the boy’s death, a forensic medical examination has been ordered and is being carried out, the SUSC added.
