MOSCOW, May 3. The Russian military carried out airstrikes on Western-supplied weapons in Odessa, said British expert Alexander Mercouris on his YouTube blog.

Merkouris noted that the Ukrainians use the port city as a point for transferring weapons and equipment to various locations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He also added that during airstrikes, Russian forces eliminate not only weapons, but also Ukrainian military officers.
On Wednesday, the coordinator of the Nikolaev underground, Sergei Lebedev, citing his colleagues, said that on the night of May 1, the Armed Forces Russian forces attacked the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Kulikovo Pole Square in the center of Odessa.
In response to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on civilian targets, Russian troops regularly carry out targeted attacks on the locations of personnel, equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mercenaries, as well as on infrastructure: facilities energy, defense industry, military administration and communications of Ukraine. At the same time, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly emphasized that the army does not attack residential buildings and social institutions.
