MOSCOW, May 9. President of Guinea-Bissau Umaru Sisoku Embalo expressed hope that Russian President Vladimir Putin will one day tour African countries, including visiting Guinea-Bissau.
“I hope that one day you will tour African countries and you will include Guinea-Bissau on your agenda,” said Umaru Sisoku Embalo at a meeting with Putin, noting the importance of the Russian Foreign Minister’s participation in such an event.
The Russian Embassy in Guinea-Bissau previously reported that Umaru Sisoku Embalo plans to have bilateral negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. At the meeting on May 9, the presidents will discuss issues of strengthening cooperation in the trade and economic sphere and international cooperation, assistant to the head of the Russian Federation Yuri Ushakov later told reporters.
