MOSCOW, May 11. Omsk Avangard has signed a contract with goalkeeper Mikhail Berdin for two years, according to the official website of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) club.
Berdin moved to Avangard on May 8 as a result of a three-way exchange with SKA St. Petersburg and Sochi.
Berdin is 26 years old. Last season in the KHL, he played 50 matches for Sochi, won 16 victories, reflecting 91.1% of shots on his own goal. In total, he has 83 matches and 26 victories in the KHL regular championships.
