SARATOV, May 13, Eduard Demyanets. AvtoVAZ resumed production on Monday after the May holidays and corporate leave of employees, the company’s press service reported.
““There have been no problems with maintaining the schedule for a long time… Yes, we left, everything is fine, we are working,” said the agency’s interlocutor. 
He clarified that production did not work from April 28 to May 12 inclusive, where corporate leave was only on working days in May, and the rest was May weekend.
AvtoVAZ owns production sites in Tolyatti and Izhevsk. In mid-May 2022, the French Renault transferred its share in AvtoVAZ (67.69%) to the state ownership of the Russian Federation. Now the brand consists of four families of models: Vesta, Largus, Granta and Niva. Sales of Lada cars in 2023 amounted to 352.6 thousand units (almost doubling).
