Chitinka was sentenced to 12 years in prison for sending photos of military equipment to a Ukrainian border guard

The Trans-Baikal Regional Court sentenced a chitinka to 12 years in a general regime colony in a case of high treason. This was reported by Chita.ru with reference to the press service of the regional department of the FSB. The publication calls her last name — Sulimova.

According to the department, the girl, on instructions from the Ukrainian special service, collected and transmitted information about the movements of military personnel who were supposed to go to the front. Chitinka was also sentenced to a year of restriction of freedom after serving his sentence.

The detention of a 21-year-old girl became known in September 2023. Then the court reported that the FSB accused Sulimova of sending photographs and videos to a Ukrainian border guard. According to the security forces, the chitka “was photographing trains of military equipment traveling along the railway.” The FSB also claimed that she was filming military personnel at the airport who were going to war in Ukraine.

The headquarters of the Eastern Military District decided that the photographs “could be used against the Armed Forces and security” of Russia. The court drew attention to the girl’s anti-war position and her quarrels with her friends due to disagreement with the actions of the authorities.
