MOSCOW, May 23. The editors of the magazine «Company» stated in an appeal that the investigative actions carried out in the building in Moscow are not related to the activities of the publication.
Earlier, a source in law enforcement agencies said that searches at the headquarters of the Company magazine in the center of Moscow took place as part of an investigation into a criminal case of extortion from Rostec top manager Vasily Brovko. The police seized computer equipment.
«On the twenty-second of May, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were at the editorial office of the magazine «Company». They carried out investigative actions, which, according to the representatives of law enforcement agencies themselves, are not related to the activities of our publication, and there are no complaints against the magazine and the editorial staff,» — the editorial statement says.
«We want to emphasize that we remain committed to a balanced approach in covering economic events and news from the life of domestic business and continue to work for the sake of our readers,» the release also notes.
