The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, introduced the former speaker of the republican parliament, Magomed Daudov, to the post of chairman of the regional government.
“He will take this post after the approval procedure provided for by law in the regional parliament. Taking into account his extensive experience and high professionalism, I am confident that the deputies will fully support the candidacy of Magomed Khozhakhmedovich [Daudov],” Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Muslim Khuchiev, who held the position of Chairman of the Government of Chechnya until May 21, will become an assistant to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Magomed Daudov resigned as speaker of the Chechen parliament in mid-May. He has held this post since 2015.
