SIMFEROPOL, May 25. In Crimea in preliminary 22 veterans of a special military operation are taking part in the United Russia voting for the election of candidates for deputies, said the chairman of the Crimean parliament, secretary of the regional party organization Vladimir Konstantinov.
Elections to local councils and the parliament of the republic are scheduled for September. Advance voting runs from May 20 to 26. Based on its results, candidates for deputies from the party will be determined for elections to the parliament of the republic and representative bodies of municipalities.
“Currently 22 veterans of the Northern Military District are taking part in the preliminary voting, 15 of whom are applying to run from the United Russia party to the State Council of the republic,” Konstantinov said.
He emphasized that he considers people who have passed the SVO to be the most important personnel reserve for the formation of government bodies at all levels.
“So these participants are, so to speak, the first signs of the process of their coming to power,” noted the head of parliament.
