MOSCOW, June 1 State Duma Deputy Evgeniy Revenko said that the passing of State Duma deputy Artur Chilingarov is sad news for the entire United Russia faction in the State Duma.
State Duma Deputy Artur Chilingarov passed away at the age of 85.
«Sad news for our faction. Artur Chilingarov… A world-famous scientist, a reliable comrade, a brave researcher and a real Hero,» he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to the deputy, Chilingarov was a man of honor.
«Wise, you could always consult him to make the only right decision. A bright man,» he added.
Chilingarov was a deputy of the State Duma of seven convocations, starting with the first, and also represented the Tula region in the Federation Council.
