The French Foreign Ministry threatened that the comments of the Russian Embassy in Paris regarding the possible sending of French military instructors to Ukraine will not remain without consequences. This statement was made by Deputy Spokesperson of the French Foreign Ministry Christophe Lemoine.
“These are outrageous statements that will not remain without consequences,” said the diplomat.
He was also asked whether the ministry would call Russian Ambassador in connection with such statements. To this, Lemoine replied that a decision on this issue is still under discussion.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian Embassy in France, Alexander Makogonov, said that if Paris sends military instructors to the territory of Ukraine, they will become legal target for the Russian army.
