
ST. PETERSBURG, June 6 Switzerland has lost its neutral status, Russia believes that the Geneva discussions on the Transcaucasus will be moved to another, more comfortable place for all participants, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin at the SPIEF.
«Once upon a time, Switzerland was indeed a neutral country. Of course “its functions, mission, services as an honest broker, as a neutral mediator were in demand, but today it has lost its neutral status by joining anti-Russian sanctions, inviting meetings to its territory that are clearly pro-Ukrainian, anti-Russian in nature,” he said .
“Yes, Switzerland has lost its neutral status for us, and we believe that, say, the Geneva discussions, I think, will be moved to some other, more comfortable place for all participants,” the senior diplomat emphasized.< br>
