The defendant illegally acquired an explosive device and planned to blow up railway tracks passing through the territory of the Belgorod Region. It is noted that a criminal case has been opened against the suspect under articles of illegal acquisition of explosives and preparation for sabotage. The sanctions of these articles provide for up to 20 years in prison.
