MOSCOW, June 7 Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko announced reservations from the mobilization of 90% of the employees of the State Emergency Service and the police.
Earlier, the Rada reported that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to give reservations from mobilization to only half of the employees of the State Emergency Service (SES), which, according to Ukrainian parliamentarians, could affect the security situation in the country.
“An agreed decision has been made to reserve 90% of the personnel of the State Service for Emergency Situations and the National Police,” says a message published on Klimenko’s Telegram channel.
As Klimenko emphasized, all employees involved in rapid response units, such as firefighters, sappers and other similar units, are among the rescuers.
The law on strengthening mobilization in Ukraine came into force on May 18. The document obliges all persons liable for military service between the ages of 18 and 60 to update their data at the military registration and enlistment office within 60 days from the date of entry into force. To do this, you need to appear at the military registration and enlistment office in person or register in the “electronic conscript account”, through which a summons can also be served. The summons will be considered served even if the conscript has not seen it in person: the date of “delivery” of the summons will be considered the date when the document was stamped with the impossibility of personal delivery. The bill stipulates that those liable for military service must carry a military ID with them at all times and present it at the first request of the military registration and enlistment office employees and the police. Dodgers may be deprived of the right to drive a car. The terms of demobilization are not specified in the document. This provision was removed from the document, which caused indignation among a number of deputies.
